Burglary, Possible Prowlers and a Man's Singing Prompts Police Response in June 28 Blotter

A roundup of Enumclaw police reports from Thursday, June 28.

Prowlers: Police received a report at 1:57 a.m. that four or five male teens were entering into a residence's yard on Harmony Lane. They were gone when police arrived.

Singing His Heart Out: Police responded to a report at 9:59 a.m. that a man was heard screaming in pain with profanities inside a residence on Harding Street. Upon making contact, the man was simply playing and singing along with music.

Burglary: Police received a report at 11:44 a.m. that a burglary had occurred at a residence on Mountain View Drive earlier. They found evidence of forced entry but nothing appeared to be missing.

Stolen Vehicle Recovered: An officer observed a vehicle that had been reported stolen in an area on Mountain Villa Drive at Roosevelt Avenue at 3:06 p.m. A female suspect was located and arrested. The vehicle was released to the owner.

Disturbance: Police received a report at 5:25 p.m. that an argument could be heard between a man and woman at a location on Griffin Avenue. The responding officer made contact and the female was trespassed from the location.

Police responded to a reported domestic dispute at 9:54 p.m. at an apartment on Myrtine Street. It was verbal only and the matter was settled.

DUI Intervention: Police responded at 7:06 p.m. to a report that a man who had been drinking was trying to get into a vehicle in a parking lot on the 1000 block of Monroe Avenue. He was evaluated by aid responders and his daughter was contacted to pick up him.
