Cause of 4-year-old’s Death Released

Sheriff’s investigators are still looking at the case.

A 4-year-old Enumclaw boy whose was reported as suspicious died of sepsis and an abdominal infection, the King County Medical Examiner’s Office said.

Bryce Bjornson-Campbell died Jan. 6 at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Tacoma. The infections were due to perforations in the intestine and esophagus, though what caused them isn’t known, the Medical Examiner’s Office said. The boy’s manner of death is also unknown.

Hospital officials alerted authorities to injuries the boy had that they deemed suspicious. King County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. John Urquhart said Monday that the office is still investigating the case.

April I am a friend of Bryce Bjornson's family and would very much like to know what happened to him. I have known Bryce's mommy Brynna since she was 3 years old and my parents were good friends with her mom Kimberly and her dad Kim. And also we were close to Brynna's grandpa Merlin and grandma Opal.
