Driver of Buckley Crash That Killed Traevon Norton Charged with Vehicular Homicide
18-year-old Ryan R. Bogue has been charged with vehicular homicide in the death of 17-year-old Traevon Norton.
Pierce County prosecuters have filed charges against 18-year-old Ryan R. Bogue for his role in the that killed 17-year-old .
Bogue has been charged with vehicular homicide and failure to remain at the scene of a deadly accident. A bench warrant is currently out for his arrest, according to a report from the Tacoma News Tribune.
The accident occurred on Aug. 3 around 3 a.m. near where 112th meets State Route 410. The driver of the vehicle was speeding and failed to make a turn and hit a power pole, Buckley Police Chief Jim Arsanto told Patch. The two young men were apparently were in the area to see friends.

A bottle of whiskey was found in the car floorboards, according to charging documents.
After the crash, Bogue supposedly left the scene and called a friend to take Norton to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw. Norton was pronounced dead at the scene.
