Enumclaw Police: 4-foot Long Pet Iguana Missing

The following information for May 3 through May 5 was provided by the Enumclaw Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, May 3

Lost Iguana: A citizen reported at 11:07 a.m. that a 4-foot long iguana was missing from a residence on the 600 block of Charwila Lane.

Accident: One driver was taken into custody for not having a valid operating license and later cited and released after police responded to a three-car accident on the 300 block of Griffin Avenue at 11:38 a.m.

Found Purse: A citizen reported at 3:36 p.m. that they found a purse that had been thrown into the bushes on the 1400 block of Battersby Avenue. It was brought to the station.

Saturday, May 4

Property Damage: Police responded to Hope Lutheran Church at 1:44 p.m. for a report a juvenile was seen urinating in front of the church and upon seeing officers, began to run and damaged a fence. He was taken into custody.

Sunday, May 5

Suspicious Activity: A resident on the 2700 block of Roosevelt Avenue reported at about 4 p.m. seeing a black Jeep that appeared to be prowling the area. When the Jeep pulled into his driveway the driver said he was looking for yard work. The area has reportedly been subject to recent prowling activity.
