Enumclaw Police: Arrest Made in Assault and Possible Luring Incident Reported

The following information from April 4 and April 8 was provided by the Enumclaw Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, April 4

Intoxicated Person: Police received a report of an intoxicated man, early 20s with baseball cap on backwards and backpack who wandered into a business on the 2800 block of Griffin Avenue at 2:28 p.m. Police were unable to locate him as he was described as last headed westbound on foot.

Theft and Forgery: Police received a report from a business on the 1800 block of Garrett Street at 5:10 p.m. that several checks were stolen and forged. A person of interest was identified.

Suspicious Person/Domestic Issue: A resident on the 100 block of Semanski Street reported to police at 10:29 p.m. she was afraid her boyfriend would try to get into the residence after a fight earlier. Police responded to the area and did not locate him. She was advised to secure the residence and call 911 if she heard anything.

Assault: One person was arrested for fourth-degree assault domestic violence after police received a report at 12:49 a.m. that an assault occurred at a residence on the 200 block of Grand Fir Drive.

Suspicious Person: Police received a report at 8:32 a.m. that someone tried to lure another person to their car on the 900 block of Melody Lane. The person fled the area and called police; no vehicle was located.

Property Damage: A citizen reported to police at 1:14 p.m. that someone flattened the tires on their vehicle while it was parked on the 100 block of Roosevelt Avenue.
