Enumclaw Police: Minor Arrested for Shoplifting and Officers Called Twice for Man Making Noisy Phone Call

The following information from April 24 and April 25 was provided by the Enumclaw Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, April 24

Shoplifting: A minor was arrested and later released for minor in possession and shoplifting from a business on the 100 block of Roosevelt Avenue at 12:38 p.m.

Burglary: Police received a report at 12:18 p.m. that a home on the 100 block of Spring Place was burglarized while the owner was out of state.

Thursday, April 25

Public Disturbance: A man was cited and released by Enumclaw Police for public disturbance after officers responded to a report of a man who had been drinking associated with a vehicle in a parking lot on Roosevelt Avenue and Griffin Avenue at 8:05 p.m. However, he was taken into custody by a Washington State Patrol trooper for an outstanding Pierce County Sheriff's Office warrant.

Angry Phone Call: Police responded twice to the Expo Center campground around 9 p.m. - the second response at 9:40 p.m. - for a report a man was yelling in the area. He was reportedly in a heated phone call and was warned to keep it down.
