Enumclaw Police Reports: Reckless Driving With a Learner's Permit, Stolen Donation Jar

The following arrest and crime information from May 15-16, 2013 has been supplied by the Enumclaw Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

MAY 15, 2013 

Malicious Mischief: A water machine outside of a store on Roosevelt Ave. was damaged. 

Found Property: A cell phone was found by a citizen and turned in to police.

Animal Complaint: A loose white and black Boston Terrier was spotted running in and out of traffic on Porter Street. The animal was last seen running southbound. 

Reckless Driving: Police responded to a report of a reckless driver and found the subject in a parking lot on Wells Street. The driver told police they are learning to drive and have a learner’s permit. 

Suspicious Activity: Officers responded to three suspicious people entering a public restroom together downtown. Simultaneously, a traffic accident occurred nearby causing a response delay. The subjects were not located.

Intoxicated Minor: Police responded to Porter Street for a report of an intoxicated juvenile. He was believed to have been huffing an unknown substance. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the subject.   

MAY 16, 2013 

Camping: A resident came to the Enumclaw Police lobby and reported subjects living in the woods. 

Trespassing: An unwanted subject was trespassed from Enumclaw High School. His motorcycle, parked on school grounds, was impounded. 

Theft: A donation jar was stolen from a location on Battersby Ave. The subject will be cited through mail. 

Vehicle Prowl: A laptop, cell phone and checkbooks were stolen from a car parked on Watson Street North. There were no witnesses and no suspects.
