Enumclaw Police: Sharpie Vandal, $1,800 Radiator Stolen, and Stolen Car Recovered in Renton

The following information from Aug. 30 to Sept. 3 was provided by the Enumclaw Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Aug. 30, 2013

Vehicle Prowl: A prowl was reported at 10:57 a.m. on the 200 block of Roosevelt Avenue.

Uninvited: An unknown subject was arrested for trespassing and disorderly conduct after walking to a residence on the 300 block of Porter Street at 6:41 p.m.

Noise: Police responded to a loud party on the 200 block of McKean Court at 10:53 p.m. and told subjects to go indoors and keep it down.

Aug. 31, 2013

DUI: One person was arrested for DUI after a traffic stop on Jensen Street at Battersby Avenue at 1:57 a.m.

Fireworks: Police responded to the 1300 block of Kibler Avenue at 4:41 a.m. for a report of shots fired. They found a Sanican had been tipped over with fireworks debris around it.

Truck Accident: A truck vs. power lines accident plus damage to a residence on the 43800 block of 244th Avenue SE was reported at 10:42 a.m.

Sept. 1, 2013

Property Damage: Three teen females were seeing throwing traffic cones into the roadway on Warner Avenue at 244th Avenue S.E. at 2:05 a.m. and knocking over a mail box.

Sept. 2, 2013

DUI: Officers with Washington State Patrol arrested a driver for DUI and resisting arrest on the 42400 block of 264th Avenue S.E. at 6:20 a.m. after receiving a report of a recklessly driven vehicle leaving Black Diamond, southbound on State Route 169.

Cows: Police received a report of loose cows in the area of the 300 block of Griffin Avenue at 7:16 a.m. The owner was fixing a fence to keep them contained.

Residential Burglary: Police received a report of a residential burglary on the 1400 block of Mountain View Drive at 3:49 p.m.

Vehicle Theft: Police received a report that a vehicle was stolen from the 700 block of Myrtine Street at 5:11 p.m. It was recovered by Renton Police at 10:55 p.m.Β 

Sept. 3, 2013

Mail Theft: Police received a report at 5:39 a.m. that items were taken from a mailbox on the 400 block of Dickson Avenue.

Property Damage: Someone defaced between 350 to 400 bricks to a building on the 1700 block of First Street with a Sharpie marker.

Theft: A Peterbuilt radiator valued at $1,800 was stolen from the 2100 block of Garrett Street and reported at 9:38 a.m.

Attempted Theft: Police arrested a subject who tried to steal a child's bike from the 2700 block of Laukala Place at 1:21 p.m.

Assault: Police took a report of an assault that took place over the weekend on the 45200 block of 284th Avenue S.E.
