Enumclaw Police: Shots Fired, Tagging Reported and Man Taken to Hospital in Mental Health Response

The following information from April 22 through April 23 was provided by the Enumclaw Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, April 22

Speeders Beware: Extra patrol has been requested for the area of the 2900 block of Chinook Avenue due to a problem with speeding vehicles.

Medical Assistance: Police assisted at a business on the 3000 block of Griffin Avenue at 2:49 p.m. following a report a man was threatening to become violent. He had reportedly been off medication and was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital.

Property Damage: Police responded to the area of McFarland Park at 5:54 p.m. due to a report of graffiti on the outside of the restroom building.

Shots Fired: Police responded to State Route 164 at S.E. 408th Street at 12:16 p.m. to assist in locating a vehicle involved in a shooting that occurred near the Muckleshoot Reservation. The vehicle was described as a green Suburban seen headed eastbound on SR 164. The male driver was wearing a red sweatshirt over a gray shirt and had reportedly fired two shots into the air. No injuries were reported. Vehicle was not located.
