Enumclaw Police: Stolen Items Turn up at Yard Sale, and Drunk Man Cited After Requesting Motorcycle Test Drive

The following information from Sept. 9 to Sept. 11 were provided by the Enumclaw Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Sept. 9, 2013

Vehicle Theft, Recovery: A citizen reported at 7:37 a.m. that two vehicles were stolen from a property on the 800 block of Mountain Villa Drive and two other vehicles were damaged. The vehicles were recovered by King County Sheriff's deputies at about 10:30 p.m. that night. 

Theft: A poster was reported stolen from the 2900 block of Porter Street at 8:30 a.m.

Fleeing Police: Police arrested a driver for eluding, resisting arrest and driving while license suspended following a traffic stop on Roosevelt at Semanski at 8:38 p.m.

Assault: A juvenile was arrested after police responded to an assault on the 100 block of Roosevelt Avenue at 8:50 p.m.

Sept. 10, 2013

Disturbance: One woman was arrested for fourth-degree assault domestic violence after police responded to the 1100 block of Griffin Avenue at 12:14 a.m. for a report of a fight between two females.

Theft: A citizen reported at 10:40 a.m. that a known suspect stole a cell phone from their home on the 2000 block of Roosevelt Avenue.

Property Damage: A citizen reported at 1:03 p.m. that a vehicle parked in the lot of an apartment building on the 700 block of Watson Street N. over the weekend had about $250 worth of damage done to the vehicle's lock, but nothing was taken.

No Drinking/Driving: One person was cited for disorderly contact after police received a report at about 5 p.m. that they were wanting to test ride a motorcycle from a business on the 400 block of Roosevelt Avenue but had been drinking prior.

Sept. 11, 2013

Theft: Police arrested two suspects for theft after a citizen reported at 10:50 a.m. that items they'd seen at a yard sale on Porter Street were stolen from their back yard on the 2200 block of Cinkovich Street.
