Enumclaw Police: Thief Steals Nitrous Tanks From Shed
The following information for Friday, June 14 through Sunday, June 16, was provided by the Enumclaw Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Friday, June 14
Traffic Hazard: Around 7:12 a.m., police responded to a cow in the roadway in the 100 block of Roosevelt Avenue E. The officer assisted with traffic control until the owner arrived and removed the cow.
Malicious Mischief: Around 10:03 a.m., police responded to a report of broken windows on a parked vehicle in the 2200 block of Cole Street. Extra patrol requested.

Litter/Pollution: Around 1 p.m., police received a report of subjects throwing garbage into a parking lot in the 900 block of Battersby Avenue.
Found Property: Around 5:31 p.m., a resident brought in fishing license that he found in his driveway.

Welfare Check: Around 6:09 p.m., a resident concerned about child being pushed down the sidewalk in a wheelbarrow. When police made contact, it was determined that a grandfather was giving his grandchild a ride. No problem found.
Theft: Around 8:35 p.m., police responded to a report of a motor vehicle theft in the 200 block of Roosevelt Avenue. On Sunday, June 16, the car was located at milepost 51 on State Route 410. The car had some damage but was drivable. The rear and front license plates were missing.
Traffic Stop: Around 10 p.m., police arrested a driver near Roosevelt Avenue and Melody Lane for third-degree DWLS.
Saturday, June 15
Malicious Mischief: The victim's car was keyed while parked at Enumclaw High School. The victim suspect the boyfriend of a former spouse was responsible. The estimated cost of damage is $500.
Vehicle Prowl: Around 12:13 p.m., police responded to a vehicle prowl of a motorhome in the 1900 block of Wilson Avenue. There were damages to the cabinet doors and toilet seat. The estimated cost of damage is $250.
Theft: Around 3:55 p.m., a resident in the 700 block Charwila Lane reported that half tank of gas, valued at $45, was taken from the car.
Sunday, June 16
Theft: Police responded to a theft from a storage shed in the 1100 block of Cole Street. Two nitrous tanks were taken. The estimated cost of loss is $500.
Burglary: Police responded to a commercial burglary in the 1500 block of McHugh Avenue around 9:17 a.m. The window was broken out, and the cash register was taken.
