Excitement Over Snow Prompts Police Call, Plus Assault, Shoplifting and Property Damage Arrests in Jan. 10 Blotter

A roundup of Enumclaw police reports from Thursday, Jan. 10.

Mediation: An officer was requested to respond to the 2400 block of Cole Street at 4:35 a.m. to settle a dispute between two people in which one accused the other of scratching their vehicle. The officer found no evidence of damage on the vehicle in question, aside from a dirty mark.

Domestic Disturbance: One man was arrested for fourth-degree assault domestic violence after police responded to a residence on the 1400 block of Davis Avenue at 12:02 p.m.

Shoplifting: A woman was arrested for shoplifting from a business on the 1000 block of Monroe Street at 3:29 p.m.

Snow Love: Police responded to the 1300 block of Kibler Avenue at 5:06 p.m. for a report of some sort of disturbance and a vehicle speeding away. The responding officer found it was just a parent and teen boys excited about the snow outside.

Property Damage: Police arrested on man for malicious mischief after responding to an address on the 3000 block of Porter Street at 8:19 p.m. for a report someone known to the resident was trying to break in.

I agree the previous version was much better and I am not adjusting well to the new version at all.Read More Its definitely not a better layout. Also have had many problems with the events calendar which may not even be fixable.

Always looking for a local nature trail, I really enjoy reading Mary Janosik's well written blog. InRead More fact, almost all the dedicated bloggers posting on the Enumclaw PATCH have something worthwhile reading. But it is not an easy job for most of us, taking some time to research and write, without any compensation. Our only reward is knowing we are being read and appreciated and the only way we know that is when you comment. In my opinion, most of the PATCH blogs are a community service, informing residents about our community and issues concerning you, our readers.
