Facebook Post Prompts Welfare Check and Noise Complaints in July 17 Blotter

Domestic Disturbance: Police responded to a verbal incident between a mother and daughter at a home on Warner Avenue at 2:05 p.m.

Police responded to a verbal incident at a residence on 257th Place S.E. at 8:16 p.m.

In Real Life: Police responded to a residence on Stevenson Avenue at 6:10 p.m. following a report that a Facebook posting might have indicated the resident was going to harm himself. The responding officer made contact and the subject said he wasn't going to harm himself; a neighbor would also look in on him.

Noise: Police received an unfounded complaint from a resident on 284th Avenue S.E. at 10:49 p.m. regarding a sound check from Creationfest at the Expo Center. The officer on scene said there had been no audio coming from the event at that point. Another two complaints came in at 11:13 p.m. regarding a loud drum/sound check but crews were done for the night.

Police received a complaint of loud voices and bass coming from The Crystal Saloon at 11:53 p.m. The soundproof shutters were up and an employee agreed to turn down the bass.
