Fire Victim Identified, Investigation Continues

The investigation into last week's reported explosion and subsequent fire at an Enumclaw home has not yet turned up evidence of criminal activity, police say.

The King County Medical Examiner's Office has positively identified the victim of last week's reported at 1839 Loraine Street as homeowner Tony Pedrini.

Enumclaw police Lt. Eric Sortland said today that preliminary investigation results into the incident do not indicate that any criminal activity was involved. However, investigators are still waiting for test results, including toxicology reports, to fully rule out the possibility of foul play.

Those results may not be available for several months, he said.
