Four Malicious Mischief Reports, a Burglary and a Laptop Found in Feb. 29 Blotter

A roundup of Enumclaw police reports for Wednesday, Feb. 29.

Trespassing: Police received a report at 12:06 a.m. of a man in the north parking lot at St. Elizabeth Hospital looking into vehicles. He was holding keys when he spoke to security and told them he couldn't find his vehicle but couldn't provide what type of vehicle he was looking for. He was trespassed from hospital property.

Extra Patrol: Police received third party information of a broken vehicle window on Washington Avenue at 5:46 a.m. Extra patrol was requested for the area.

Extra patrol was needed in the early hours between the 2400 and 2500 block of Cole Street due to reports of malicious mischief to business windows.

Found Laptop: A laptop and auto battery charger was found at 9:29 a.m. stashed along the fenceline on Olie Ann Place. The area is used by high school students as a footpath. The property is with police.

Assault: Police responded to a possible assault in progress at 9:41 a.m. at a location on Watson Street North. The victim didn't wish to file charges at the time and the matter was settled.

Juveniles: Police responded to a location on 264th Avenue S.E. at 11:35 a.m. for a report of juveniles with alcohol on the premises. The guardian was notified and responded.

Police responded to a report of an out-of-control juvenile on Semanki Street at 6:02 p.m. They were reportedly throwing contents of a freezer around. A family member picked them up for the night.

Malicious Mischief: A projectile reportedly damaged the window of a suite on Cole Street. It was reported at 12:05 p.m.

A vehicle parked on Railroad Street at Griffin Avenue was reported damaged at 12:51 p.m. with some minor cosmetic damage.Β 

B&B Welding reported at 1:15 p.m. that there was damage to the front window on Cole Street.

A vehicle on Jensen Street was reported to have its passenger side window broken at 11:45 p.m. Nothing was stolen and it's believed to have occurred between 2:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.

Burglary: A residence on Harding Street reported at 1:54 p.m. that her home had been burglarized. There were signs of forced entry as the house was locked. Extra patrol has been requested for the next few weeks.

DUI: A man was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on Cole Street at 9:07 p.m.

Utility Problem: Police received a report at 10:24 p.m. of water bubbling out of a storm drain on Lincoln Avenue at Semanski. The responding officer found a possible broken water line that was draining into the storm drain. City Water Dept. was notified and would have responded in the morning.
