Gas Thief Caught and Purse Stolen in Vehicle Prowl in Feb. 26 Blotter

Thief Caught: Police responded to the 100 block of Charwila Lane at 3:26 a.m. for a report of a gas thief and the suspect was located and arrested.

Theft: Police received a report at 12:21 p.m. of a property theft from a residence on the 1900 block of Wilson Avenue.

Vehicle Prowl: Police received a report at 4:34 p.m. that a window of a vehicle parked on the 400 block of Roosevelt Avenue was broken and a purse that was sitting on the floor board was stolen.

Jewelry Found: Police received a report at 5:42 p.m. that jewelry was found on the 1000 block of Griffin Avenue. The property was brought back to the police station to cross check with existing stolen property records.
