Hicks and Raburn Memorial Dedication in Maple Valley Today

The new memorial site was commissioned by the City of Maple Valley in partnership with the King County Sheriff's Office at Lake Wilderness Park.

The King County Sheriff’s Office and City of Maple Valley are inviting the public and media to attend a dedication ceremony of the new “Hicks and Raburn Memorial” site.

The new memorial site was commissioned by the City of Maple Valley in partnership with the King County Sheriff’s Office at Lake Wilderness Park. This is to provide a local memorial for fallen deputies who served in Southeast King County.

There was previously a memorial located at the Hicks/Raburn Precinct in Southeast King County; however, due to closure of the precinct a new memorial has been commissioned.
