Illegal Dumping, Shoplifting and Tires Damaged in Nov. 27 and Nov. 28 Blotter

Tuesday, Nov. 27

Traffic Arrest: Police assisted State Patrol in an arrest associated with a reckless vehicle on State Route 164 near S.E. 436th Street and 236th Avenue S.E. at 1:07 a.m.

No Dumping: Police responded to a report at 12:10 p.m. that someone had dumped personal garbage into a business dumpster on the 1000 block of Stevenson Avenue. Because the garbage had identifying material in it, police were requested to contact the dumper(s) and let them know not to do it again. Police contacted the person and she agreed to pick up her garbage.

Wednesday, Nov. 28

Shoplifting: Police responded to a business on the 2400 block of Griffin Avenue at 4:33 a.m. for the theft of two granola bars but did not locate the suspect.

Speeders Beware: Extra patrol has been requested during lunch times in the area of the 200 block of Semanski Street due to students speeding.

Neighborly Noise: Police responded to the 100 block of Leo Place at 7:43 p.m. for a dispute between two neighbors over noise.

Property Damage: Police received a report at 9:24 p.m. that a vehicle parked on the 100 block of Roosevelt Avenue had its tires deflated.

Suspicious Activity: Police arrested a woman for warrants out of Kelso after responding to the QFC parking lot on the 1000 block of Monroe Avenue at 11:29 p.m. for a report of suspicious activity involving a pick up truck and a Jeep.
