On Scene Narrative:

* E96 RECEIVED A WALK IN BURN COMPLAINT AT STATION 96 FOR xxx AUBURN ENUMCLAW RD. E96 PROCEEDED AND FOUND THE BURN AT xxx AUBURN ENUMCLAW RD. THERE WAS A BUSINESS CALLED xxx AND A RESIDENCE ON THE PROPERTY. WE WERE MET BY xxx AT THE STREET WHO LED US TO THE BURN.  E96 FOUND A 10'X10' BRUSH PILE WITH A 4'X4' SECTION AND A DOOR WITHIN THE PILE BURNING.  THE NAME ON THE PERMIT WAS xxx PERMIT # xxx. THE PERMIT WAS VALID. E96 INFORMED MR. xxx THAT BURNING A DOOR WAS NOT PERMITTED, AND HE WAS ONLY ALLOWED A 4'X4'X3' PILE.  MR. xxx PULLED OUT THE DOOR AND EXTINGUISHED IT AND WE INFORMED HIM HE NEEDED TO SEPERATE A 4'X4' PILE FROM THE LARGER ONE WITH BARE MINERAL EARTH AROUND IT AND FEED THE REST OF THE PILE INTO THE 4'X4'.  WE ALSO TOLD HIM HE WAS ONLY ALLOWED TO BURN NATURAL DEBRIS THAT CAME FROM HIS PROPERTY AND NOT ANY MANMADE OR PROCESSED DEBRIS.

Tim's Narrative:
If you have a complaint about someone burning then it is best to call 9-1-1. This puts the call into the system and allows our firefighters to check it out. If you are burning then it is important to follow the rules on the burn permit.

I agree the previous version was much better and I am not adjusting well to the new version at all.Read More Its definitely not a better layout. Also have had many problems with the events calendar which may not even be fixable.

Always looking for a local nature trail, I really enjoy reading Mary Janosik's well written blog. InRead More fact, almost all the dedicated bloggers posting on the Enumclaw PATCH have something worthwhile reading. But it is not an easy job for most of us, taking some time to research and write, without any compensation. Our only reward is knowing we are being read and appreciated and the only way we know that is when you comment. In my opinion, most of the PATCH blogs are a community service, informing residents about our community and issues concerning you, our readers. So please send your favorite bloggers a thank you or a comment once in awhile to keep us motivated and feel appreciated..
