Maple Valley Robbery Suspect Arrested Thanks to Washington's Most Wanted Tips

The 30-year-old man was taken into custody from his parents' home in Maple Valley Monday night.

Tips from viewers of the “Washington’s Most Wanted” television show led police to a bank robbery suspect after his photo and the details of the case were aired on the show, according to a King County Sheriff's Office press release today.

Detectives arrested the 30-year-old man at his parents’ home in Maple Valley on Monday night. The case aired on Washington’s Most Wanted on Friday night and they began receiving tips over the weekend.

Detectives said the suspect in the 23700 block of Witte Rd in Maple Valley on August 24 around 4 p.m.

The suspect is also believed to be the same man that robbed a Key Bank in Des Moines and a Chase Bank in Kent. Both of those robberies occurred on September 6, said detectives.
