Most Common Enumclaw Crime? Theft and Larceny

We're a pretty safe city; not a single robbery or felony assault was reported to the Enumclaw Police Department since 2013 began.

You're far more likely to be the victim of a theft or larceny than any other crime if you live in Enumclaw.

Numbers just released by the Enumclaw Police Department show that of major crimes investigated by authorities, there have been 148 reports of theft and larceny since the beginning of 2013.

Violent crimes such as homicide and manslaughter, crimes that plague other cities, were virtually non-existent during the first seven months of the year. There were no murders, no robberies, and no vehicular assaults. One rape was reported, back in January.

Incidents of commercial burglaries are also low for most months except for a spike in April, when 16 reports were investigated.

A total of 14 residential burglaries have been reported since January.

We do have occasional car and truck thefts; seven vehicles were reported stolen in January, followed by five in July and four in May. A total of 22 vehicles have been stolen since the beginning of the year.
