Multiple Traffic Arrests, Graffiti, Property Damage and Thefts in June 22 to June 25 Blotter

A round up of Enumclaw police reports from Friday, June 22 through Monday, June 25.

Friday, June 22

Reckless Burning: Police responded to a report of a possible attempted arson at 1:08 p.m. behind a building on the 200 block of Roosevelt Avenue near a dumpster. There was evidence of a fire that was intentionally set.

Lost Wallet: A wallet was reported lost Thursday, June 21 near the O'Reilly Auto Parts on the 900 block of Roosevelt Avenue.

Tricycle Stolen: Police received a report at 2:44 p.m. that an adult tricycle, red in color, was stolen from a residence on the 700 block of Watson Street North.

Vehicle Stolen: Police collected a report at 9:29 p.m. of a stolen vehicle on the 300 block of Chinook Avenue.

Saturday, June 23

Furnishing Alcohol to Minors: Police created a case for furnishing alcohol to minors after they responded to check on a male who had been drinking and was lying on the side of the road on 260th Avenue SE at 6:04 a.m.

Theft: Police responded to a report of a theft at 4:20 p.m. at a business on Cole Street.

Traffic Arrests: Police arrested a suspect for third degree driving while license suspended after a traffic stop at 9:28 p.m. on State Route 410 at Cole Street.

A suspect was arrested at 9:30 p.m. following a traffic stop on Stevenson Avenue at Garrett Street for driving while license suspended and several warrants.

A suspect was arrested at 9:41 p.m. for driving while license suspended following a traffic stop on Roosevelt Avenue.

A suspect was arrested for third-degree driving while license suspended following a traffic stop on Griffin Avenue at 11:46 p.m.

Sunday, June 24

Traffic Arrests: A driver was arrested for third-degree driving while license suspended following a traffic stop on Griffin Avenue at 1:37 a.m. The passenger was booked for obstructing and public disturbance.

Theft: An iPod was reported stolen at 1:40 p.m. from a location on Kibler Avenue.

Property Damage: Police responded to a report at 9:31 p.m. that someone had pulled up a plant from a neighbor's yard on Charwila Lane. One teen was arrested and booked for minor in possession and malicious mischief.

Juvenile Incident: Police received a report at 9:41 p.m. that a group of people in a black pickup truck were seen chasing a teen on a skateboard through a parking lot on Monroe Avenue. The teen threw his skateboard at the truck and left on foot. An officer responded but didn't locate anyone at the time of the call. At 10:11 p.m., a man entered the police station to report his vehicle was damaged by someone who threw his skateboard at it.

Monday, June 25

Juvenile Problem: Police contacted three teens who were trespassing in the area of Cincovich Street at Chinook at 12:38 a.m. The mother of two of the teens picked all three up.

Sleeping at School: Police received a report at 7:32 a.m. that a man was sleeping on Enumclaw High School property. The responding officer found several subjects there and one person was arrested on a drug charge; the others were released at the scene.

Graffiti: Police received a second report of graffiti on the side of a building on Roosevelt Avenue at 8:13 a.m.

Property Damage: Police received a report at 12:37 p.m. that a window pane to a door was broken on a property on Kibler Avenue. The damage is estimated at $300.

A resident on Farrelly Street reported at 5:38 p.m. that part of a used cherry bomb was found in his mailbox. The mailbox wasn't damaged.

Police observed a burned bicycle and tagging on the walls on a building on Roosevelt Avenue at 10:06 p.m. The bicycle was brought to the police station.

Traffic Arrest: One person was booked for third-degree driving while license suspended following a traffic stop on Roosevelt Avenue at 9:54 p.m.

Noise: Police responded to a complaint of loud music at a location on Warner Avenue at 10:47 p.m. The residents agreed to turn down their TV.
