Teens Smashing Pumpkins and DUI Suspect Arrested After Hitting Dog in Nov. 1 Through Nov. 3

Thursday, Nov. 1

Suspicious Person: Police received a report at 11:25 p.m. that someone was screaming in the area of the 2500 block of Warner Avenue. The responding officer located the subject and an aid car was requested for a voluntary commitment.

Friday, Nov. 2

Suicidal: Police responded to an address on the 2200 block of Lowell Place at 9:29 a.m. for a report of a suicidal female. She was transported to the hospital.

Saturday, Nov. 3

Smashing Pumpkins: Police received a report at 1:22 a.m. that several teens were seen in the area of Jefferson and Adams Avenues smashing pumpkins. Extra patrol was in place for the night.

DUI/Animal Hit: Police arrested a driver for DUI at 2:19 a.m. on the 3200 block of Harding Street after receiving an anonymous report. The parent of the suspect transported the dog that had been hit by the suspect's vehicle to a 24-hour animal hospital.

Noise Complaint: Police received a noise complaint regarding loud music at Seeder's at 10:39 p.m. and that it was disturbing guests at the Park Center Hotel. Management was asked to turn down the volume and the doors to the bar were closed.
