One Person Killed, One Injured in Osceola Area Accident

The accident involved two vehicles that reportedly collided at the intersection of 228th Avenue S.E. and S.E. 448th Street.

One person was killed and another injured in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday evening just outside of Enumclaw city limits, according to a King County Fire District No. 28 press release.

A sedan and an older model truck reportedly collided at about 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of 228th Avenue S.E. and S.E. 448th Street.

The driver of the sedan was taken to an area hospital for injuries. The driver of the truck died at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation and a cause has not been determined at this time.

Fire District No. 28, King County Medic One, King County Sheriff's Office and Washington State Patrol responded to the accident.
