Package Valued at More than $800 Stolen from Residence, Mailboxes Tampered With and Woman Stuck in Bathroom in May 17 to May 20 Blotter

Thursday, May 17
Suspicious Circumstances: Police contacted a possible victim at 3:59 p.m. of what may have been a burglary at a location on Charwila Lane. The victim was advised to contact police if anything happens again.

Shoplifting: Police responded to a report of a theft from a business on Roosevelt Avenue at 8:41 a.m. The incident was caught on video and was believed to involve a known suspect.
Police received a report at 7:55 p.m. that a shoplifting occurred at a business on the 2400 block of Griffin Avenue.

Bike Found: An abandoned mountain bike was retrieved from Bongard Avenue at Elk Meadows at 9:56 a.m. It is being stored at the police station.
Animal Complaint: Police received a report at 11:14 a.m. of an aggressive dog on the loose on the 1200 block of Porter Street. King County Animal Control was notified of the incident as a high priority.
Theft: Police responded to a report at 4:22 p.m. that a package dropped off by UPS at a residence on the 25900 block of S.E. 432nd Street was stolen. The items taken were valued at about $827.
Harassing Customers: Police responded to a report of juveniles harassing customers at a business on the 1000 block of Monroe Street at 5:55 p.m. They were asked to leave the area and the matter was settled.
Dangerous Driving: Police received a report at 7:56 p.m. that subjects in a black 4 Runner nearly hit the reporting party in a parking lot on Watson Street North. When she confronted them, a subject admitted he tried to hit her. Police transported one subject to Auburn police for a warrant and the matter was settled.
DUI: A woman was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on Farman Street North at S.E. 449th Street at 11:04 p.m.
Stuck in Bathroom: Police responded with fire at 11:42 p.m. to assist an intoxicated female at a business on Griffin Avenue who was reportedly stuck in the bathroom while family members tried to get her our. She was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Saturday, May 19
Theft: Police received a report of a theft from a location on D Court at 12:54 a.m. A wallet, medication and phone were among the items taken from the residence.
Mailbox Tampering: Police received a report at 2:44 p.m. that someone was tampering with the mailboxes on Noble Fir Circle. The responding officer made contact with a resident who was changing the lock on their mailbox.
Sunday, May 20
DUI: A man was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on Griffin Avenue at Semanski Street at 1:18 a.m.
Accident: Police responded to a two-car motor vehicle accident with injuries on LaFromboise Street at State Route 164 at 12:56 p.m. One person was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital with injuries.
