A roundup of Enumclaw police reports from Thursday, April 21

Assault: A man was arrested for fourth-degree assault domestic violence and malicious mischief domestic violence following a reported dispute at a property on Division Street at 7:58 a.m. He had reportedly grabbed the reporting party's throat and then left with their six-year-old son in a green Jeep. He contacted police to report medical needs but didn't give a location; police were able to locate him at his mother's home on Mountain Villa Drive. He was treated for a cut and then taken into custody.

911 Follow up: King County Sheriff's Office reported an open 911 call in the area of Second Street at 10:19 a.m. There was the sound of a child crying and and adult; the child may have fallen, but the phone was hung up. Without a call back number available, an officer checked the area but found nothing.

Theft: Police received a report of a theft of a stereo face plate from a vehicle that was parked in the area of Colvercrest Street at 12:07 p.m.Β

Road Rage: Police received a report of someone carrying a knife and yelling at a vehicle passing by in the area of Marshall Avenue and Wells Street at 6:13 p.m. The suspect vehicle was a teal Dodge Neon. An officer responded but no one was found in the area.

Police Assistance: A resident on Wynalda Drive reported a man had wandered to their home at 5:07 p.m. but they didn't know where he lives. Police had the man's address in house and were able to give him a courtesy transport home.

Neighbors on Alert: Police received a report of a reckless driver in the area of State Route 410 at 244th Avenue S.E. at 6 p.m. The vehicle was described as a black Suburban that was tailgating and passing vehicles. Officers responded but were unable to locate.

A woman came to a house on Wells Street at 6:50 p.m. to check on it after her brother was arrested the previous night. She found the door open and the house appeared ransacked. Further investigation found that there had been no malicious mischief and that the mess was caused by someone moving out.

Panhandling: Police received a report of a woman panhandling in front of a business on Griffin Avenue at 8:16 p.m. An officer provided a courtesy transport for her to be picked up by a family member.

DUI: Police received a report of a DUI in the area of LaFromboise Street and Kibler Avenue at 8:21 p.m. and arrested one person for suspected DUI.
