Police Blotter for April 25

A roundup of Enumclaw police reports from Monday, April 25.

Reckless Driving Accident: A one-car motor vehicle accident was reported at 2:34 p.m. on Warner Avenue at State Route 410 in which the vehicle left the roadway and stopped in a ditch. No injuries were reported. The driver was to be cited for reckless driving.

Neighbors on Alert: A green Kia Optima parked on Stevenson Avenue at 3:04 p.m. reportedly had two young children left unattended inside. The vehicle left prior to an officer's arrival; the officer located the vehicle later at the Chinook Apartments but it was unoccupied.

Police responded to a possible DUI at 6:22 p.m. involving a white Taurus station wagon in which a male driver was seen hitting the curb at Wells Street and Griffin Avenue. He was last seen headed eastbound on Griffin. Police checked the area but were unable to locate.

Possible Sexual Assault: Police received a report of a possible sexual assault connected to a property on Initial Place at 4:13 p.m. The case has been referred to the detective unit for follow up.

Domestic Violence Assist: Police assisted King County Sheriff's deputies with a domestic violence incident in progress at 7:44 p.m. at a residence on 266th Avenue S.E. A male was seen brandishing a shotgun while the female exited the house unharmed. The male was taken into custody and the scene was turned over to deputies for further investigation.
