Thursday, April 28

Trespassing: The King County Sheriff's Office reported at 12:27 a.m. that two juveniles were seen jumping over a fence onto private propery on 244th Avenue S.E. An officer located the two later on Griffin Avenue at Semanski Street; both admitted to being on the property to use the porta potty.

Driving While License Suspended: A driver was arrested and booked for third-degree driving while license suspended and additional drug charges following a traffic stop at 4:06 a.m. on Semanski Street at Roosevelt Avenue.

Neighbors on Alert: A resident on Park Street reported suspicious circumstances at a neighbor's home at 5:13 a.m. after seeing someone inside. The resident reported that both homeowners were out of town; officers responded and found that while the husband was out of town, the wife was still home.

Injured Dog: An officer responded to a report of an injured dog in a yard on Griffin Avenue at 7:32 a.m. It was transported to an animal hospital; King County Animal Control was advised.

Drug Arrest: Officers responded to a location in Auburn in an attempt to locate a suspect; the suspect was arrested and booked for a drug investigation at 11:37 a.m.

A man was arrested following a traffic stop on Griffin Avenue at LaFromboise Street at 7:20 p.m. on a felony warrant from Olympia for sale of narcotics.

Weapon Offense: A man was arrested after he was reportedly seen with what turned out to be a pellet gun while hiding in bushes by Harding Street at 1:19 p.m. He was booked for unlawful display of a weapon.

Malicious Mischief: The tail lights on a vehicle parked outside a residence on Elmont Avenue were reportedly kicked out and broken glass and a foot mark were found on the vehicle. The incident was reported at 4:15 p.m.

Friday, April 29

Loose Horses: Two loose horses were reported in the area of McHugh Avenue at Cole Street at 3:46 a.m. Police contacted a nearby homeowner who boards horses but they don't belong to him; he was willing to board the horses until the owner was located. One horse was contained in a stall while the other was still loose but nearby. King County was also advised.

Neighbors on Alert: Police responded to a report of someone throwing things at passing cars on State Route 410 at 2:52 p.m. Nothing was found.

Traffic Accident: A two-car motor vehicle accident was reported at Wells Street at Griffin Avenue at 3:55 p.m. Damages were reported.

Juvenile Problem: Police responded to a report of five or six juveniles on the roof of a property on Fell Street at 5:11 p.m. Officers asked them to move along and they did.

Assault: An assault was reported between juvenile females at a property on Pine Cone Avenue at 9:03 p.m. The suspects were located at a property on Grand Fir Drive; the victim declined to press charges.

Saturday, April 30

Vehicle Prowl: A theft from a vehicle parked aththe Aquatic Center on Semanski Street was reported at 9:46 a.m. The passenger side front window was damaged and a purse taken with $5 in cash and a credit card in it.

A vehicle alarm was triggered in the 1800 block of Florence Street at 9:52 p.m., prompting a request for extra patrols in the area due to a concern about vehicle prowls. No one was seen in the area.

A vehicle alarm was triggered in the area of Bangert Place at 11:43 p.m., which has had vehicle prowls in the last week. The reporting party's vehicle had not been broken into. Officers checked the area and located two juveniles but no others.

Hit and Run: A hit and run accident was reported at Battersby Avenue at 1:06 p.m.

Theft: Skis were reported stolen off a car while it was parked in the Safeway parking lot at 3:19 p.m.

Remains Found: A citizen reported that skeletal remains were found in the woods above Greenwater. The report was turned over to State Patrol.

Sunday, May 1

Past Curfew: An officer located two juveniles walking on Cole Street at 1:15 a.m. A parent was contacted to pick them up; they were supposed to be home.

Neighbors on Alert: A green, Ford Expedition was seen driving recklessly on Warner Avenue at Semanksi Street at 5:56 p.m. Officers responded but did not locate the vehicle.

Drug Arrest: One man was arrested, cited and released for possession andΒ Violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act on Roosevelt Avenue at 6:08 p.m.

Warrant Arrest: One person was taken into custody on EMC and Auburn warrants after being contacted about a bicycle violation on Railroad Avenue at 11:56 p.m.
