Police Blotter for Aug. 29

No pacing or golf; aunt makes threat; gas stolen, and more

The following arrest information was supplied by the Enumclaw Police
Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Gas stolen: Report of theft of about five gallons of gas from vehicle on Stevenson Avenue occurred sometime over weekend. Third time is has happened.

No golf: Head custodian reports that a male is playing golf in the field between Southwood and Sunrise elementaries. Custodian says he is trespassing, but person is gone when officers arrive.

He’s a locksmith: Woman says she talked with a Hispanic man in a white van who was at a residence on Garland Place that had been vacant for months. He told her he had permission to change the locks. Officer responded and found he did have permission.

Aunt threatens: Man on Semanski Street says he is receiving threatening phone calls from his aunt.

DV assault: Officer responded to Cole Street where complainant says there was domestic violence. Contact made with victim, who showed evidence of assault. Ended up being a King County case.

No pacing: Man pacing in front of store on Monroe Avenue, but was gone when police arrived.

Wallet found: Black wallet found on Garrett Street with identification, credit cards and cash. Owner notified.
