Thursday, December 15

Odd Text Messages: Police looked into a report at 6:02 p.m. that a student was receiving harassing text messages. (Editor's Note: From police reports, it's unclear if this was the high school or middle school.) The messages were deemed not threatening but odd. The responding officer received reports that this was happening with several other students as well.

Shoplifting: Witnesses reportedly saw suspects take groceries from Safeway at 8:37 p.m. and load them into a black Lincoln. They followed the Lincoln until the car was put in the ditch at Mud Mountain Road and 252nd Avenue S.E. The witness then drove back to the store before reporting the theft -- officers were unable to locate the vehicle as it was gone already.

Friday, December 16

Noise: Police responded to a noise complaint on Griffin Avenue at 12:12 a.m. but found no excessively loud noise.

Police responded to a noise complaint at the Crystal Saloon at 11:37 p.m. They found the soundproof shutters were up and the noise was not excessive.

Theft: Police received a report at 1:05 p.m. that prescription medications were stolen from a room at a motel on Roosevelt Avenue.

Drug Arrest: One man was taken into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana at 1:46 p.m. at a property on Davis Avenue. He was cited and released at the scene.

Saturday, December 17

Disorderly Conduct: One man was arrested for disorderly conduct after officers first responded to a report of a possibly suicidal individual at a property on Florence Street at 1:36 a.m.

Drunk but Honest: An intoxicated man was reportedly sitting on the bumper of a ladder truck at the fire station at 9:24 a.m. and told authorities he had a warrant. He was given a courtesy ride and advised to take care of his warrant -- which was for a DUI in King County.

Driving Offenses: A driver was taken into custody for not having a valid license and a passenger arrested for minor in possession after a traffic stop on Roosevelt Avenue at 10:45 p.m.

Assault: Two people were arrested for fourth-degree assault domestic violence after officers responded to a domestic at 10:54 p.m. at a property on Chinook Avenue.

Too Late to Play Ball: Several juveniles were seen playing basketball on Larsen Avenue at 11:39 p.m. Police spoke with the group and they agreed to stop for the night.

DUI: One person was arrested for DUI at Stevenson Avenue at Cole Street at 11:56 p.m.

Sunday, December 18

Noise: Police responded to a loud music complaint at Crystal Saloon at 12:01 a.m. and found the soundproof shutters were up. They asked management to turn down the music.

Damaged Fence at Expo: Police believe a vehicle had been doing brodies in the sound lot at the Expo Center and then hit the fence post, causing damage to the fence line that was reported at 12 p.m.

Phone Harassment: A suspect was arrested in Buckley at 4:24 p.m. and taken to Enumclaw for booking following a report of telephone harassment associated with a property on Maple Drive.

Robbery: Police have information regarding a suspect vehicle involved in a robbery that occurred shortly before 6:20 p.m. on 244th Avenue S.E. The suspect was seen with a black handgun in his waistband and the vehicle involved was described as a light blue or silver sedan with a plate ending in '1Y.' The vehicle was last seen heading northbound on 244th AVenue S.E. This is now a King County case.
