Police Blotter for Feb. 1 to Feb. 2

Two arrests for DUI and weapons possession, respectively, people drive recklessly, and a car vs. bicycle accident lands one person in the hospital.

Tuesday, Feb. 1

Not a Theft: An officer responding to a report of theft from the library found that the self-checkout had been complete. The matter was settled.

Reckless Driving: Police were unsuccessful in locating a reported green Honda Civic in the area of State Route 410 and Griffin Avenue that nearly hit a pedestrian at 11:14 a.m.

Police received a report of someone who appeared to be driving under the influence at a gas station on Monroe Avenue at 5:31 p.m. The vehicle, described as a Chevy pick up truck with a yellow light on top, was last seen northbound on Garrett Street. 

Suspicious Circumstances: A syringe with liquid in it was found at the corner of Stevenson Avenue and Marion at 11:34 a.m.

Malicious Mischief: The lawn on a property on Loraine Street was reported the victim of malicious mischief. This is reportedly an ongoing issue and extra patrol has been requested.

Accident: One person was taken to Enumclaw Regional Hospital following a bicycle versus vehicle accident at Kibler Avenue and Porter Street at 3:15 p.m. 

Domestic Dispute: A verbal domestic dispute was reported at an address on Natalie Place beginning at 8:29 p.m.; the dispute continued until 12:02 a.m. when it was settled.

Fight: A fight was reported on Cole Street at 10:36 p.m. Police separated the parties.

Wednesday, Feb. 2

DUI: A woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Griffin Avenue at 12:27 a.m. 

Noisy Neighbors: Police responded to a noise complaint on Griffin Avenue at 1:56 a.m. The responsible party agreed to turn down the loud music.

Reckless Driving: The driver of a vehicle was pulled over at Warner Avenue and Semanski Street South at 7:43 a.m. and cited for reckless driving.

Marijuana: A juvenile was taken into custody from a location on Semanski Street South at 9:58 a.m. after he was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Guitarist Moves On: Business owners along Cole Street requested police remove a guitarist who had reportedly been soliciting money and had been there for three weeks. He moved on without incident.

Theft from Vehicle: A GPS unit was stolen overnight from an unlocked vehicle parked on Harding Street. 

A stereo was reportedly stolen from a vehicle parked on Cole Street at 11:03 p.m.

Weapons Offense: A man was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm following a traffic stop at 2:25 p.m. on Griffin Avenue and Garrett Street. A woman who was also in the vehicle was initially detained on an Auburn warrant but was later released.

Threats: A woman with a Warner Avenue address reported she received a threatening phone message from a known person. Enumclaw police contacted King County Sheriff's Office of the incident.
