Police Blotter for Feb. 14 and Feb. 15

Two men were seeing hanging out outside Enumclaw High School Monday, an animal problem was reported on Garfield Street, and a man receives threat from his neighbor.

Monday, Feb. 14

Neighbors on Alert: An officer made contact with a man on Roosevelt Avenue at 7:03 a.m. He appeared to be ill but was able to drive home.

Two women were seeing in a dark blue Taurus on Pioneer Street at 12:52 p.m. with the windows down. They appeared startled by the presence of a homeowner. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.

Speeders: Police received a request at 11:59 a.m. for extra patrols on 260th Avenue S.E. for speeders and reckless drivers.

Trespassing: Police received a report of two unwanted men hanging out in front of Enumclaw High School at 12:22 p.m. An officer made contact and served a trespass letter to the subjects.

Mountain Bikes Found: Two mountain bikes were found in on Cole Street the day before. They were brought to the police station at 4:07 p.m.

Solicitors: Two solicitors were reportedly going door to door in the area of Almadon Street and Summer Place at 7:08 p.m. An officer advised them that soliciting was prohibited in residential areas. They contacted their boss to pick them up.

Tuesday, Feb. 15

Not a DUI: Police along with King County Sheriffs and State Patrol located a possible DUI on State Route 164 and 188th Avenue S.E. at 11:25 a.m. The driver had not been drinking.

Neighbors on Alert: A man with salt and pepper hair, about 6 feet 3 inches tall wearing a long, grey overcoat was seeing walking between Rite Aid and Safeway on Roosevelt Avenue at 1:48 p.m., swearing. Police checked the area and did not locate him.

Two intoxicated men were seen leaving a complex on Cole Street at 5:04 p.m. in a gold, GMC pick up trick with a black canopy -- they were last seen southbound on Cole and were also associated with a report of being in possession of drug paraphernalia. An initial check by police did not turn up the men but later on, they were found in the same complex outside the truck. An officer destroyed the paraphernalia that was found in the parking lot.

A suspicious man was seen parked outside a business on Roosevelt Avenue since 3:30 p.m. He had gone into the store several times, acting suspiciously and was asked to leave each time. Officers made contact -- he agreed to leave the area.

Animal Problem: A woman reported being bitten by a dog associated with an address on Garfield Street at 4:36 p.m. She had been treated by a doctor. An officer made contact with the owner and will contact King County Animal Control about the incident.

Bar Dispute: A man who reportedly had a dispute with several subjects at a bar earlier thought that they were outside his door on Griffin Avenue at 6:37 p.m. trying to look in. An officer made contact and escorted the man to his car.

Neighbor Threats: A man reported having an ongoing problem with his neighbor on Battersby Avenue at 8:48 p.m. He reported the neighbor made threatening comments -- and officer advised him of options. Later that night, the officer contacted the subject and advised him to stay away from the reporting party.
