Police Blotter for Feb. 9

A man tries to collect following a traffic accident, flares were left unattended on the Foothills Trail, and someone abandoned their vehicle and left their keys, wallet, ID and credit cards behind.

Unwanted Person: A man reportedly arrived at an address on Kibler Avenue at 10:31 a.m. demanding money, related to a motor vehicle accident that occurred a few weeks ago involving someone affiliated with this address. An officer assisted in information exchange and advised the man not to return. The matter was settled.

Unattended Flares: A King County Sheriff's deputy reportedly saw two road flares sitting on the Foothills Trail about a quarter of a mile north of the parking area on Warner Avenue at 6:41 p.m. The flares were out but it is unknown why they were there.

Traffic Hazard: A vehicle was reportedly was abandoned on in the middle of Dickson Avenue at Mountain Villa Drive at 10:14 p.m. Keys and a wallet were found inside the vehicle. Police have attempted to track the owner but without success. The vehicle was impounded by Fred's Tow and entered into a state database. The keys, wallet, ID and credit cards were brough to the police station for safe keeping.
