Friday, Jan. 27

DUI: A driver was arrested and booked for DUI and third-degree driving while license suspended following a traffic stop on Roosevelt Avenue at 244th Avenue S.E. at 12:41 a.m.

Malicious Mischief: An officer found a broken window to a business office building on Stevenson Avenue at 1:16 p.m. but it did not appear that anyone went inside. The officer contacted the business owner that the broken glass needed to be cleaned up.

Noise: Police responded to a report of two barking dogs at a location on Loraine Street at 3:33 p.m. No one was home at the property; police later contacted the resident and informed them of the complaint.

Police got a complaint of a loud bass at a business on Roosevelt Avenue at 10:54 p.m. An officer responded and asked the business to turn the bass down.

Drugs: One person was booked for possession of marijuana at a property on Semanski Street at 3:45 p.m.

Threats: Police responded to a report of threats at a property on Battersby AVenue at 9:28 p.m. The subject was served a trespass notice for one year and left the property.

Saturday, Jan. 28

Loitering: Police had a report of juveniles hanging out at a vacant home that was for sale on Grand Fir Drive at 1:10 p.m. They agreed to stay off the property.

Assault: Both parties involved in a fight at a business on Griffin Avenue at 6 p.m. would be charged with fourth-degree assault after police investigated the incident that involved on man striking the victim in the face with a belt, causing lacerations. Initially, the victim was treated for injuries at the scene and the suspect was taken into custody.

Hit and Run: An accident occurred in the parking lot of a business on Griffin Avenue at 7:21 p.m. that involved a larger extended cab white truck with the business' markings on the side. There were five men on board. The truck backed into a red Mustang and left eastbound on Griffin. The business owner stated he'd ensure the damage was taken care of and would look into who was driving the work truck at the time.

Sunday, Jan. 29

Noise: Police responded to a complaint at a business on Roosevelt Avenue at 12 a.m. for a report of a loud bass; they asked them to turn it down.

Domestic Dispute: Police responded to a report of possible ongoing domestic issues at a home on Spring Place at 10:51 a.m.

A man was taken into custody for malicious mischief third degree domestic violence after police received a report that he was out of control at a property on Larsen Avenue at 4:31 p.m. and banging his head against the walls and threatening people. 

Fight: A woman reported her boyfriend's sister threw a can of pop at her head at a property on Roosevelt Avenue at 12:32 p.m. She declined to prosecute and the matter was settled.

Animal Complaint: Police heard from a resident on Carley Place at 1 p.m. that his children were approached aggressively by two dogs he believes live in the area. Police contacted the owner and she would check to make sure there weren't any holes in her fence.
