Police Blotter for July 8-12

Neighbors fight, taser used, nurse attacked among the calls.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Enumclaw police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Graffiti tag: A building on Roosevelt Avenue reportedly was tagged with graffiti overnight. Employees will clean it off.

Arrest for spitting: A person on a bicycle drove past a victim in a parking lot on Cole Street and spit on his face. The bicyclist was arrested for assault 4.

Cardboard stolen: Two bales of cardboard were stolen from behind a business on Monroe Avenue. The thief was last seen driving a small red pickup northbound on Cole St.

Hole cut in fence: Officers found a hole cut in a fence on the north side of a business on Semanski Street South. Officers also found a door open and property outside on the ground. Burglary report taken.

Not neighborly: Assault occurred between neighbors on Myrtine Street. One was booked for assault 4.

No longer 4th: Teens in a white 4-door sedan reportedly threw a Roman Candle on victim’s yard on Edel AVenue.

Taser used: Officers used a taser to get an intoxicated person under control who had become compative on Griffin Avenue.

Drinking woes: A 27-year-old man was taken into custody for furnishing alcohol to a minor and a 19-year-old woman was taken into custody for minor in possession, both at Roosevelt Avenue and Garrett Street.

More drinking woes: A traffic stop on Griffin Avenue led to a man being taken into custody for DUI and minor in possession. Three passengers were released at the scene.

Too loud: Several callers on Kibler Avenue were disturbed by the PA system at the Relay for Life fundraiser being too loud for 5:30 in the morning. The PA was turned down.

Nurse assaulted: A combative female patient assaulted nursing staff on Battersby Avenue by spitting and kicking.

Knock it off: A man was going door to door on Lowell Avenue and Porter Street inquiring about residents’ occupations. Officer advised him that if he goes to any other doors he will be arrested.

X-ray package: Suspicious package delivered on Roosevelt Avenue that did not go through the Postal Service. Package taken for x-ray. No explosives found.

Window broken: A malicious mischief occurred on Rainier Avenue South when a window on an Airstream trailer was broken. Damage estimated at $700.

On the prowl: A residential prowl was reported on Highpoint Street. Reporting party awoke to hear someone climbing over back fence, then trying to get in at the rear slider door.

Drug stuff destroyed: Drug paraphernalia was found in a parking lot on Griffin Avenue and brought to the station, where it was destroyed.

Trespass and drugs: Two people were seen walking around the back of an empty house on Myrtine Street. Officers responded, found the door open and checked inside. The pair were arrested on criminal trespass and drug charges.

More drugs: A traffic stop on Semanski Street and Roosevelt Avenue resulted in the driver being arrested for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

Still more drugs: A passenger in a vehicle on Griffin Avenue was arrested on a drug charge and Auburn warrants.
