Police Blotter for June 6 to June 8

The following arrest information was supplied by the Enumclaw police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, June 6

Reckless Driving: A driver was arrested for reckless driving and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on 264th Avenue S.E. at S.E. 416th Street at 2:51 a.m. 

Theft: A citizen reported the theft of a package from a mail box on Porter Street at 12:21 p.m. They have video of the theft.

Harassment: A resident on Loraine Street reported at 1 p.m. an ongoing issue with a neighbor harassing them and being verbally abusive when they head out to check mail. Police responded and the matter was settled.

Soliciting: A Hispanic man in a black car was reportedly going door-to-door in the area of Fredrickson Street at 3:42 p.m. soliciting residents. Police made contact and informed him of solicitation laws in Enumclaw.

Hit and Run: A hit and run accident between a car and bicyclist was reported on Blake Street at Griffin Avenue at 3:53 p.m.

Driving While License Suspended: One person was taken into custody for third-degree driving while license suspended following a traffic stop on Griffin Avenue at 8:52 p.m.

Noise Complaint: Police received a report of a loud base coming from Crystal Saloon and that the soundproof shutters were not up at 9:27 p.m. Officers checked the property and found no music playing and that the shutters were down. They also did not detect any noise after waiting by the complainant's address for five minutes.

Tuesday, June 7

Driving While License Suspended: A driver was arrested for third-degree driving while license suspended after reportedly driving a pick up through a fence on Roosevelt Avenue at 7:04 a.m. They had not been drinking.

Vehicle Prowl: Several items were reportedly taken from a vehicle parked on Roosevelt Avenue East overnight. The prowl was reported at 8:16 a.m. 

Harassment: Employees at a business on Griffin Avenue reported being harassed by two customers at 11:29 p.m. They left in a black Acura prior to officer's arrival.

Wednesday, June 8

Driving while License Suspended: Two people were taking into custody on driving and drug charges, including third-degree driving while license suspended on Loraine Street at Kibler Avenue at 1:36 a.m. 

Alcohol Offense: Alcohol license violations including after hours service, an underaged server and unreported pay matters were reported concerning a business on Cole Street at 12:11 p.m. 

Drug Possession: One man was taken into custody at 11:19 p.m. for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana after police received a report of some women standing outside their apartment at Rainier Glen smoking marijuana.

Missing Person: Police at 11:23 p.m. were not able to locate a woman who had not returned from heading to either Rite Aid or Walgreens to pick up a prescription. She had been gone about five hours when she was reported. She was driving a maroon Ford Escort.
