Police Blotter for March 1

A roundup of Wednesday's police reports.

Domestic Dispute: A woman reported that her boyfriend was locked inside her home on Bathke Avenue with her 2-year-old child at 7:48 a.m. She said they had a verbal disagreement earlier about her behavior, and threats were made about what would happen if she left the relationship. As an officer arrived, she was let into the house -- the boyfriend said he was asleep and didn't hear her.

A man was arrested for violation of a no contact order, malicious mischief and possession of drug paraphernalia at a residence on Myrtine Street at 11:37 p.m.

Parking Issue: Tenants at a property on James Street are complaining that two vehicles, a silver Honda and a yellow Dodge van had been parked on the roadway for months, and that there was no parking left. The left rear tire of the van was marked with an impound warning. And officer attempted to contact the owner at the apartment but was unsuccessful.
