Tuesday, March 15

Involuntary Commit: A man was reportedly lying in the parking lot of AM/PM on Roosevelt Avenue at 12:15 a.m. Aid was summoned and he was transported to Auburn Regional Hospital for involuntary commitment.

DUI: A man who came into the police station at 12:36 a.m. to check on an inmate but was refused visitation became irate and slammed doors and pounded windows upon exit. He was arrested for DUI.
Possible Break-in: The window screens were removed from a rear door of a property on Porter Street at 11:25 a.m. No access was gained.

Neighbors on Alert: Police received a report of a possible DUI last seen southbound on State Route 169 from S.E. 400th Street at 3:16 p.m. The vehicle was described as a gray, Ford F150 pick up truck, traveling across lanes and braking. Officers did not find this vehicle.
Burglary: A residential burglary was reported at 4:04 p.m. at a property on Spruce Drive.
Wednesday, March 16
Possible Code Violation: Renters at a property on Griffin Avenue reported that neighbors appear to be running a vehicle painting business out of a nearby residence. They were advised to contact the city and possibly the fire investigator to look into whether there is a violation.
Firewood Theft: Theft of firewood from a residence on Marshall Avenue was reported at 3:58 p.m. The suspects were described as two Native American men in a small pick up truck.
Foothills Trail Arrest: A citizen walking on the Foothills Trail at 6:05 p.m. reported seeing a man in the bushes -- it was unclear if he was injured or sleeping. Upon fire and police arrival, it was revealed he was fine. But he was arrested on a Buckley warrant and taken to Buckley by State Patrol.
Domestic Dispute: An officer observed an dispute on State Route 410 at Blake Street at 8:42 p.m. The male was in a vehicle while the female was on foot. Both indicated the dispute was verbal only and there were no signs of assault.
Drug Arrests: Two people were arrested on drug related charges at 10:14 p.m. on the 700 block of Myrtine. One was taken into custody for three warrants as well as suspicion of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act, and the second was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy for violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act.
Minors in Possession: Two minors were arrested at 11:09 p.m. on Warner Avenue: one for possession and trespassing and the second for trespassing and possession of marijuana.
