Police Blotter for March 3

A summary of Thursday's police reports.

Burglary: A shed on a property on Roosevelt Avenue was reportedly broken into sometime prior to 5:23 a.m. The lock was missing with keys still inside the door -- the complainant believed that someone had broken in. The follow up officer found that cases of Pepsi and box stop smoking spray was taken.

Disturbance/Fight:  A verbal dispute was reported at Green River Community College at 9:32 a.m. A white male in his mid 20s was in a verbal altercation with an instructor. He was instructed not to return until he had permission from the dean of students.

No Money Back: Two women demanding their money back were reportedly refusing to leave a business on Stevenson Avenue at 3:13 p.m.  They told officers they had their nails done two days ago and now wanted their money back. The officers advised that it was a civil matter and they would have to move on as the business was not going to give any refund.

Domestic Issue: A resident reported that children's father was wanting to taken them for a visitation and would not leave the front of the residence on Melody Lane at 4:22 p.m. They are in the middle of court action and the mother didn't want to let them go. The responding officer kept the peace -- the children stayed with their mother while the father left the area.
