Police Blotter for March 4 to March 6

A roundup of police reports from over the weekend.

Friday, March 4

Accidents: A two-car motor vehicle accident was reported on State Route 410 at Garrett Avenue at 7:41 a.m. with injury.

One person was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital following a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident on Garrett Street at Stevenson Avenue at 3:11 p.m.

Noisy Neighbors:  Officers responded to a noise complaint near the Crystal Lounge at 11:51 p.m. Loud music could be heard though the windows to the lounge were closed. They were asked to turn down the bass.

Saturday, March 5

DUI: One person was arrested and booked for suspicion of driving under the influence at Warner Avenue and Grand Fir Drive at 2:04 a.m.

Transients: Two men were reportedly harassing citizens along the Foothills Trail at 10:32 a.m. One was described as a 25 year old man with black clothing; the other was a 50 year old man in unknown clothing. They were both carrying bags and appeared to be transients. They were asking people for rides and were later seen trying to make camp in the woods just off the trail. Officers made contact and instructed them to leave the area.

Drugs and Trespassing: One person was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia while three others were cited for trespassing after they were found to have trespassed on a property on Semanski Street at 9:39 p.m.

Sunday, March 6

Noisy Neighbors: Officers responded to reports of loud music at the Crystal Lounge at 12:01 a.m. Loud bass music could be heard but the windows were covered. The lounge was asked to turn down the music.

Police received a loud music complaint coming from a property on Willow Drive at 3:54 p.m. They were asked to turn the music down.

Domestic Dispute: An officer responded to a report of a physical domestic problem at a property on Semanski Street at 12:20 a.m. It turned out to verbal only -- the male left for the night and the matter was settled.

Low Wires: A low-hanging wire was reported on Stevenson Avenue at Cole Street at 7:01 a.m., possibly interferring with traffic. Comcast responded and fixed the wire.

Threats: A woman reported at 3 p.m. being threatened by a prior neighbor who was contacting her at her new residence and work. Later at 6:40 p.m., she reported he was again at her residence on Garrett Street demanding to talk to her. He left before police arrived. She was advised on how to get a court order and to contact police before he leaves the next time.

Assault: A 15-16 year old male is the suspect in a reported assault that occurred on Cole Street at Initial Avenue at 5:04 p.m. He was described as having light colored hair and wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt and blue jeans. The victim and witnesses filed reports with police. There were no physical marks on the victim.
