Wednesday, May 11

Vehicle Prowl: The interior of a vehicle parked on Stevenson Avenue at 2:42 p.m. was reportedly ransacked and $30 in change was taken.

Noise Complaint: Police responded to two reports of loud bass music coming from Crystal Lounge at 8:31 p.m. and again at 10:36 p.m. but found upon arrival that there was no music. Staff said there was no music that night and all soundproof shutters were closed. The complaint was unfounded.

Thursday, May 12

Neighbors on Alert: An elderly man was seen in the area of Wetherbee Lane at 11:05 a.m. attempting to get into cars and homes. An officer made contact and found the man wasn't prowling but was lost; family was contacted and they picked him up.

Trespassing: One person was arrested for criminal trespass after they were seen going through items in the lobby of the fire department on Wells Street at 12:45 p.m. 

Fight: An altercation was reported at 6:15 p.m. at a property on Griffin Avenue between a manager and occupant. Minor injuries were reported and treated at the scene; the responding officer determined the dispute was mutual combat.

Disturbance: A man was reportedly banging on the walls in the room about the reporting party at a property on Griffin Avenue at 10:11 p.m. Both parties were contacted and the man was warned to cease making the noise.

Friday, May 13

Solicitors: Police responded to a report of two men in the area of Harding Street and Initial Avenue at 11:24 a.m. who were going door to door offering lawn mowing services. 

Traffic Hazard: Police responded to a report of a man laying in the roadway at Blake Street and Warner Avenue at 12:09 p.m. They advised him to stay out of the road and he agreed.

Police responded to a report of a white man wearing a black jacket and stocking cap, around 30 years old, who was jumping out in front of vehicles in the area of Porter Street and Kibler Avenue at 11:58 p.m. He was giving a courtesy ride home.

Drug Investigation: Police conducted a drug investigation that began with a traffic stop in front of a property on Blake Street at 3:31 p.m., followed by contact at a residence.

Saturday, May 14

Burglary: A burglary was reported at a residence on Griffin Avenue at 12:20 a.m. The victim reported that the unknown subject entered through the window and that a cell phone, stereo deck and Sony amp were taken. The victim also reported concerns that the room had been entered at other times and that there might be listening devices planted in various objects around the room.

Noise Complaint: Police received a complaint of loud music coming from Crystal Saloon at 12:45 a.m. Upon officer's arrival, the soundproof shutters were found closed and no music could be heard.

A second complaint regarding Crystal Saloon came in at 10:56 p.m. Police found the shutters were in place and noise was mid-level though the back door was open, so they closed it.

Several people were reportedly plaing in the park at the Flentsted Addition on Farrelly Street at 1:20 a.m. Police advised the group of the park's closing time and they left.

Neighbors on Alert: A resident on Lincoln Avenue reported screaming outside at 1:31 a.m. Officers responded and found the source of the scream; they were given a ride home.

A resident on Warner Avenue reported a male subject standing around at 9:52 p.m. and appeared to be casing the neighborhood. He was described as a white male, thing build with sandy brown hair and wearing blue jeans with a plaid overshirt. Police were unable to locate.

Malicious Mischief: A hair dryer and some towels were reported missing from a hotel on Griffin Avenue at 10:58 a.m. There were no damages reported.

Theft: A window was smashed out and a purse with camera taken from a vehicle that was parked at Boise Creek Park at 3:52 p.m.

Disturbance: A verbal altercation was reported between a resident on Cole Street and a male subject at 4:58 p.m. The resident was mowing the lawn at the time. The subject was last seen walking on Cole wearing a yellow shirt and white pants. Police were unable to locate.

Sunday, May 15

Accident: A two-car non-injury accident was reported at 11:04 a.m. on Griffin Avenue at Garrett Street.

Theft: A quad was reported stolen from a property on Rainier Avenue at 4:21 p.m., sometime in the last 24 hours. 

Animal Complaint: A large dog was reported loose in the area of Martin Way at Roosevelt Avenue at 5:03 p.m. Police located the dog and its home -- the dog was able to jump the fence. The officer found the owner wasn't home so a card was left indicating the dog was getting out and needed to be secured.
