Gas Siphoning, Eggings and Barking Dogs Round out Weekend Police Reports

A roundup of Enumclaw police reports from Friday, November 4 through Sunday, November 6.

Friday, Nov. 4

Gas Thief: Police had a request for extra patrols in the area of Griffin Avenue overnight due to someone reportedly siphoning gas out of vehicles.

Reckless Driving: Police arrested a driver for reckless driving and making threats after the vehicle reportedly slid into a yard on Nielson Avenue at 5:54 p.m. and almost hit the homeowner.Β

Egging: Juveniles reportedly egged a home on Garfield Street. It was reported at 11:38 p.m.

Malicious Mischief: A man reported that several subjects who had been drinking broke a mirror on his vehicle parked at a motel on Roosevelt Avenue at 12:39 a.m. It was later found the mirror wasn't broken but loose. Police increased patrol in the area.

Police arrested a man, reported as an unwanted subject, for malicious mischief domestic violence at a residence on Initial Place at 3:08 a.m.

A citizen reported that someone threw a rock through a window of a vehicle parked on Semanski Street South sometime overnight after 9 p.m.

A building on First Street was egged and a window broken sometime overnight, causing about $250 in damages.

Negligent Driving: A driver was arrested for third-degree driving while license suspended and negligent driving on Griffin Avenue at 1:55 a.m.

Barking Dog: A resident on Johnson Street reported at 4:02 p.m. of an ongoing problem with a barking dog in the area. They've left notes on the door of the owner's home to no avail. They are also aware of contacting King County Animal Control. The dog wasn't barking when the officer responded.

Found Debit Card: A citizen turned in a Visa debit card at 8:12 p.m. found at the ATM at US Bank. It is with dispatch at the police station.

Sunday, Nov. 6

Beer Theft: Six minors were involved in a theft of beer from Safeway at 12:02 a.m.

Barking Dog: Police received two complaints of a barking dog at a residence on the 1400 block of Harding Street, beginning at 7:27 a.m. Having contacted the homeowner, she reported the dog probably belonged to the previous tenants and wandered back to the residence. She confirmed at 3:23 p.m. that the dog was no longer on the property.

Animal Complaint: Police received a report of two loose pit bulls at Florence Street and Roosevelt Avenue at 12:10 p.m. The responding officer was unable to confirm the breed; the dogs weren't aggressive but ran off when the officer approached.

Vehicle Prowl: Police received a report of a prowl from the night of October 31. The reporting party had video surveillance of the prowl that occurred on Roosevelt Avenue E. A Kenwood stereo was taken.
