Police Blotter for Sept. 19 and Sept. 20

A roundup of police reports provided by the Enumclaw Police Department for September 19 and September 20

The following arrest information was supplied by the Enumclaw Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, September 19

Vehicle Prowl: A citizen reported that a GPS unit was stolen from a vehicle parked on Garfield Street.

Road Rage: Two vehicle were reportedly pulled to the side of the road at 244th Avenue S.E. and Griffin Avenue at 10:29 a.m. and the occupants were out of the cars yelling at each other. An officer responded and admonished both individuals for their actions.

No Camping at Mahler Park: Police were alerted to someone possibly living at the park on 244th Avenue S.E. at S.E. 436th Street. A citizen found a tent, clothing and other belongings hidden off a path in the park. Police don't think anything has been there for some time. The property was removed.

Reckless Driving: One person was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving at 3:02 p.m. on Battersby Avenue at Cole Street. 

Not Domestic Issue: Police responded to a report of a possible physical domestic violence incident at a property on Watson Street North at 4:39 p.m. but determined it was not a DV issue.

Stolen Vehicle Recovered: Police arrested and booked a suspect for auto theft as well as third-degree driving while license suspended at 7:09 p.m. on 264th Avenue S.E.

Tuesday, September 20

Graffiti: The J.J. Smith building on Fell Street was tagged overnight in several places along the east side of the building. Similarly buildings on Blake Street and Roosevelt Avenue were also tagged.

Assault: Police responded to a property on Division Street at 4:26 p.m. for a possible assault and determined an assault did occur involving a white male driving a white KIA. He was not found; there are no suspects at this time.

Police responded to a report of a teen threatening other children with a baseball bat on Laukala Avenue at 4:30 p.m. Two teens were arrested for felony threats.

Stealing Wires: Extra patrols have been requested at a property on Osceola Street due to unknown suspects trying to break into light standards in the parking lot. It is believed they were trying to steal wiring.

Traffic Accident: A two-car injury accident was reported at 5:09 p.m. on Griffin Avenue at Pioneer Street.

A different two-car injury accident was reported at 5:36 p.m. on Elmont Avenue at Harding Street.

Graffiti Arrest: Police arrested and booked a man seen spray painting a building on Cole Street at Marshall Avenue at 6:53 p.m. He was booked for malicious mischief; he also has a warrant out of Seattle Police.
