Police Blotter for Sept. 23 to Sept. 25

A roundup of Enumclaw police reports from Friday, Sept. 23 through Sunday, Sept. 25.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Enumclaw Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Sept. 23

Indecent Exposure: Police responded to a report of a male on Griffin Avenue at 3:08 p.m. who opened his coat and exposed himself to two girls. The girls reported seeing fake male genitalia underneath. He was gone upon police arrival.

Metal Thefts: Police received a report of six aluminum collars being stolen from a property on Griffin Avenue at 3:43 p.m. 

Copper wiring from poles in the area of Loraine Street and Garfield Street were reportedly stolen overnight Thursday, Sept. 22. Extra patrols have been requested for this area. Puget Sound Energy has responded and fixed the pole though there remained other damages in the alley way.

Domestic: A verbal domestic dispute reportedly occurred at a property on Farman Street at Roosevelt Avenue at 8:19 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 24

Juvenile Problem: Police received a report of several teens vandalizing property in the area of Highpoint Street and Kibler. They were seen trying to steal the top off a fountain in a yard and throwing bottles at houses. Police were unable to locate but some broken bottles were found in the area; no property damage was found.

Police responded to a report of juveniles drinking alcohol at a property on Fell Street at 6:13 p.m. They were taken to the police station and released to their parents.

Barking Dog: Police received a barking dog complaint from an apartment on Watson Street North at 9:01 p.m. The owner was not home at the time; neighbors spoke to the responding officer of their concerns regarding the dog. The officer advised them to bring concerns to the management's attention.

Vehicle Prowl? A citizen on Wynalda Drive reported at 11:22 p.m. that they heard a car window being smashed and a suspect may have run off towards the high school. Upon police arrival, no suspect was found any damage.

Sunday, Sept. 25

Speeders Beware: Police have emphasis patrols ready at two locations in the city in the next two weeks. One area of emphasis is on Harding Street between Kibler Avenue and Griffin Avenue, particularly during pick up and drop off hours at Kibler Elementary School. The other is on Chinook Avenue between Porter Street and McFarland Park.
