Police Blotter for Sept. 30 to Oct. 2

A roundup of Enumclaw police reports from Friday, September 30 through Sunday, October 2.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Enumclaw Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction. 

Friday, Sept. 30

Something Fishy: Police received a report at 7:33 a.m. of fish parts being spread all over a vehicle parked on Summer Place. No damages to the car were found.

Verbal Dispute: A citizen reported their daughter may have been involved in a domestic dispute at a property on Griffin Avenue at 11:36 a.m. Police responded and found it was a verbal dispute and food fight.

Hit and Run: Two teens were seen -- one on a bike and one on a skateboard -- hitting a vehicle parked on Pioneer Street at 7:03 p.m. before fleeing. There was no damage to the vehicle.

DUI: A driver was arrested following a traffic stop on State Route 410 at 244th Avenue S.E. at 10:33 p.m. 

Sitting and Talking: Police received a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in front of mail boxes at Elk Meadows on Asmundson Lane North at 11:17 p.m. The occupants told the responding officer they were just sitting and talking; the officer asked them to leave the area and they did.

Saturday, Oct. 1

DUI: A driver was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on Harding Street and Kibler Avenue at 2:02 a.m. 

A driver was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on Birch Drive at Warner Avenue at 10:01 p.m.

Cornfield Vandalism: Police received a report at 8:12 a.m. that many corn stalks had been pulled from a nearby cornfield and placed in the front yard of a residence on Peterson Drive East. This had happened twice before. Police contacted the parents of a possible suspect.

Car vs. Bus: A car versus metro bus accident was reported at 10:20 a.m. on Griffin Avenue at Roosevelt Avenue. No injuries were reported.

Property Damage: A vehicle parked on Semanski Street South was reported damaged at 10:08 p.m. The trunk was dented and tail light broken. There are no suspects.

Noise Complaint: Police received a report of a loud bass coming from the Crystal Saloon at 10:14 p.m. The responding officer found the complaint was unfounded as the soundproof shutters were up and noise level low.

Sunday, Oct. 2

DUI: A driver was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop at S.E. 468th Street and 244th Avenue S.E. at 12:13 a.m.

Another driver was arrested following a traffic stop on State Route 410 at Cole Street at 2:20 a.m. 

A driver was booked for DUI and hit and run following a traffic stop on Wells Street at 5 p.m.

Noise Complaint: Police received a complaint in a residential area of Roosevelt Avenue at 12:20 a.m. Responding officer found nothing at the scene.

Fight: Police responded to a fight in the Safeway parking lot at 12:30 p.m. The victim provided information about the suspect but did not want to pursue charges.
