Police Need Help Identifying Maple Valley Bank Robber

A $1,000 cash reward is being offered through Crime Stoppers for tips that lead to the suspect's arrest.

King County Sheriff's detectives need your help to identify a suspect involved in the robbery of a Maple Valley Bank on Friday.

According to a Sheriff's Office press release issued Monday, the suspect entered the Bank of Ameria at 23730 Witte Road S.E. at about 3:30 p.m. Friday and presented a note to the teller; he fled with an undisclosed amount of money, and no weapon was shown or implied.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, 5' 9" heavy build, black hair, wearing black shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information that can help identify this individual is asked to call King County Sheriff’s Office at 206-296-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Callers to Crime Stoppers may remain anonymous and are eligible to receive a cash reward of $1000.00 if the information given leads to an arrest and charge of the person(s) involved. (To be eligible for the Crime Stoppers reward, a person must provide the information through Crime Stoppers.)
