Green Laser: On Aug. 18 a white Ford Ranger parked in the QFC parking lot was shining a green laser at passing vehicles. Culprits were gone when police arrived around 10 p.m.
Lanterns Ignited: Suspects were lighting and releasing paper lanterns in the 4500 block of 24th Ave. S.E. on Aug. 18 around 9:45 p.m. Officers advised them of the fire hazard.
Domestic Violence: Suspect booked for domestic violence assault at Roosevelt and Warner avenues on Aug. 18 around 2 p.m.
Knife Recovered: A knife was reported at 244th Ave. S.E. near State Route 164. An officer brought it back to the department for storage on Aug. 18 around 9:42 a.m.
Harassing Threat: Reporting party said someone was harassing and threatening him. Suspect said it was the other way around. Both were told about laws regarding harassment and threats. They agreed to stop. The incident occurred Aug. 17 in the 100 block of Loraine St. around 11:35 a.m.
Dumpster Fire: Extra patrols were requested for Kibler Elementary after three junior high boys were found in the back of the building near the dumpster lighting paper on fire. The incident occurred Aug. 17 around 5:05 p.m.
Vehicle Stolen: A vehicle was reported stolen Aug. 17 at around 4 p.m. in the 700 block of Myrtine St. It was last seen Aug. 14.
Dog Feces: Neighbor reportedly was disposing of dog feces in neighborhood holding pond. Subject was asked to stop doing that. Follow-up needs to be done with homeowner’s association if problem continues. The incident occurred Aug. 17 at 10:30 a.m.
3 Car Accident: Three car blocking injury accident at intersection of Griffin Ave. and Porter St. at 1:12 p.m. Aug. 17. Two cars were towed.
Drug Charges: Traffic stop at 1400 block of Chinook Avenue at 2:11 p.m. Aug. 17 resulted in two being arrested and booked on drug charges.
Harassment Arrest: A harassment reported was taken around 9:37 p.m. Aug. 16 at McHugh and Porter Street. The suspect was located and arrested.
Road Rage: Road rage reported at Warner Ave. and 276th Ave. S.E. Aug. 16 at 3:41 p.m. Officers contacted both drivers. Reporting party was counseled for speeding and tailgating.
