Suspect Flees After Attempted Forgery at Bank, Leaves ID and Check Behind in Oct. 29 and Oct. 30 Blotter

Monday, Oct. 29

DUI: One person was booked for DUI following a traffic stop on State Route 410 at Semanski Street at 3 p.m.

Attempted Forgery: A suspect was seen fleeing US Bank on Cole Street at 3:12 p.m. after an attempted forgery. He left his ID and check behind.

Domestic Violence Assist: Police assisted Buckley police for a domestic violence incident in progress on the 300 block of Park Street in Buckley at 11:39 p.m. A man was taken into custody for domestic violence assault and resisting arrest.

Tuesday, Oct. 30

Stolen Vehicle Recovered: Police received a report at 8:52 a.m. that a vehicle parked in the garage of a home on the 3200 block of Florence Street was stolen. Pierce County Sheriff's Office deputies reported at 1:13 p.m. the vehicle was recovered in Tacoma with some damage to the front drivers and passenger side and rear.

Attempted Theft: Police responded to the Kibler Church of Christ at 10:17 a.m. for a report that a lawn mower, gas and weed trimmer were stolen. The responding officer did locate these itmes in a field nearby.

Vehicle Fire: Police assisted Enumclaw fire with traffic control at a vehicle fire on the 2300 block of Kibler Avenue at 3:12 p.m.

Bike Stolen: A silver BMX bike was reported stolen from a residence on the 700 block of Charwila Lane at 6:57 p.m.

Hi, Susan and Lou. We do know that our events calendar has issues at the moment with incorrect timesRead More displaying, and our engineering team is at work to correct this. My best suggestion at the moment is to post a comment on an event with the correct time, if you aren't able to go in and edit an event that you previously posted. Our ownership has not changed -- we have been and continue to be a part of the AOL family. Our intent with the new design is to highlight the great content that our users create and share with the community. We know there have been some bumps with our launch and are working diligently to fix them. We hope you'll be patient with us and continue to share on Patch.

I agree the previous version was much better and I am not adjusting well to the new version at all.Read More Its definitely not a better layout. Also have had many problems with the events calendar which may not even be fixable.
