Theft of $700 in Equipment Part of Multiple Vehicle Prowls in Jan. 29 and Jan. 30 Blotter

A roundup of Enumclaw police reports from Tuesday, Jan. 29 and Wednesday, Jan. 30.

Tuesday, Jan. 29

Too Wrecked: Police received a report at 9:50 a.m. that a vehicle theft occurred sometime after 7 p.m. the previous night at a location on the 1100 block of Grand Fir Drive. The vehicle was in reportedly impounded by Cascade Towing the previous night as abandoned and wrecked, according to the King County Sheriff's Office.

No Soliciting: Police made contact with someone soliciting in the area of the 1900 block of Hawk Court at 3:37 p.m. and advised them of city policy regarding soliciting. They were leaving the area.

Accident: Police responded to a two-car non-injury accident on State Route 410 at Roosevelt Avenue at 6:01 p.m.

Vehicle-Related Arrest: Police were attempting to locate a suspicious vehicle in the area of the 3200 block of Garfield Street at 8:46 p.m. and made contact with the driver, who was arrested for physical control.

Wednesday, Jan. 30

Traffic Arrest: Police arrested a driver for second-degree driving while license suspended and obstructing following a traffic stop on the 24400 block of State Route 410 at 3:50 a.m.

Theft: Police received a report at 8:53 a.m. that a truck parked on the 1000 block of Griffin Avenue has had items removed from the back including a compressor and welding leads totalling $700.

Vehicle Prowl: Police received a report at 9:12 a.m. that a vehicle on the 1800 block of Washington Avenue had been rummaged through - nothing appeared to be stolen.

Police received a report at 10 a.m. that a vehicle on the 900 block of Martin Way was prowled overnight - nothing was stolen.

Police received a report at 12:13 p.m. that a vehicle on the 2400 block of Martin Way was prowled with items taken.

Police received a report at 2:21 p.m. that a GPS was stolen from a vehicle parked on the 1200 block of Pioneer Street.

Assault: Police arrested a man in connection to an assault at the Enumclaw Library.

Stalking: Police received a report at 2:25 p.m. of a stalking issue related to a residence on the 1300 block of Lafromboise Street, and a red lowrider small pick up with black car bra, as well as a gray Volkswagen sedan.

Domestic Violence: Police responded to a domestic violence assault incident at 4:35 p.m. at a location on the 1400 block of Franklin Street.

Hi, Susan and Lou. We do know that our events calendar has issues at the moment with incorrect timesRead More displaying, and our engineering team is at work to correct this. My best suggestion at the moment is to post a comment on an event with the correct time, if you aren't able to go in and edit an event that you previously posted. Our ownership has not changed -- we have been and continue to be a part of the AOL family. Our intent with the new design is to highlight the great content that our users create and share with the community. We know there have been some bumps with our launch and are working diligently to fix them. We hope you'll be patient with us and continue to share on Patch.

I agree the previous version was much better and I am not adjusting well to the new version at all.Read More Its definitely not a better layout. Also have had many problems with the events calendar which may not even be fixable.
