Three Arrested in Home Burglary, Ball Field Equipment Tampered With and Car Window Broken on Washington Ave

This is a roundup of reports from March 2 to March 6 provided by the Enumclaw Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, March 2

DUI: One person was arrested for DUI following a traffic top on Farrelly Street at 12:44 a.m.

Vehicle Theft: Police received a report at 1:03 a.m. that two vehicles were removed without permission from a residence on Pioneer Street by a known person. Officers were following up. (See March 4 entry)

Fight: Police responded to a residence on Kibler Avenue at 1:49 a.m. for a report of a fight. They found a man and woman arguing over car keys; both were intoxicated. The man was assaulted but declined to press charges.

Assault: Police received a report at 1:55 a.m. that a man had been assaulted by three other men on Roosevelt Avenue who then left the area. No weapons were involved; a second possible victim had already left the scene.

Monday, March 4

Theft: Police received an additional report of theft following an initial report of vehicle theft at a residence on Pioneer Street while the owner was away, and the suspect was a known person. Items reportedly missing from the home include jewelry taken from a locked cabinet. Police were following up.

Speeders Beware: Extra patrol was requested for Osceola Streeet from State Route 410 due to speeding vehicles in the school zone.

No Dumping: Police responded to a parking lot on Cole Street at 1:54 p.m. for a report that someone had illegally dumped their garbage there. Identifying information helped officers located the subject, who went back to the scene.

Tuesday, March 5

Burglary: Police arrested three people at a residence on the 45500 block of 244th Avenue S.E. at 9:49 a.m. for burglary after they received a report from the homeowner the property should have been vacant.

Theft: A woman reported at 2:41 p.m. that $79 was taken from her purse on the 2200 block of Jensen Street.

Cause of Explosion: An officer confiscated items from a vehicle seen involved in a loud explosion on the 1000 block of Griffin Avenue at 5:46 p.m. and warned the subjects to leave the area.

Wednesday, March 6

Fields Tampered With: Police received a report at 8:19 a.m. that electrical boxes for the baseball field lights off the 2900 block of McDougall Avenue have been opened and wires pulled out though they weren't removed or damaged.

Property Damage: Police received a report at 2:36 p.m. that the back window of a vehicle parked on the 1000 block of Washington Avenue had been broken out.

Hi, Susan and Lou. We do know that our events calendar has issues at the moment with incorrect timesRead More displaying, and our engineering team is at work to correct this. My best suggestion at the moment is to post a comment on an event with the correct time, if you aren't able to go in and edit an event that you previously posted. Our ownership has not changed -- we have been and continue to be a part of the AOL family. Our intent with the new design is to highlight the great content that our users create and share with the community. We know there have been some bumps with our launch and are working diligently to fix them. We hope you'll be patient with us and continue to share on Patch.

I agree the previous version was much better and I am not adjusting well to the new version at all.Read More Its definitely not a better layout. Also have had many problems with the events calendar which may not even be fixable.
